Early Learning at Home

This course has been designed for families with children who are entering into or already in early years programs or a Kindergarten classroom.

In this, self paced online course, we will take you through a series of informative videos that focus on how to engage in early learning at home and how to prepare children for transitioning to school. We will share research, practical ideas, learning templates/tools and effective strategies for:

• How to support your child/children with new and daily transitions
• Teaching your child/children about the power of positive thinking and growth mindset
• Learn about genuine ways to embed reading, writing, and mathematics into your daily activities, interactions and play at home
• How to engage, set up play, and explore in the outdoors at home

How does it work?

• Families can take their time going through modules. You will always have access to revisit and rewatch the learning modules.
• Each module will include an instructional video with practical examples, research, and opportunities to reflect.
• We will include additional resources and videos to support learning within each module as well.
